ION

High Performance Ethernet Cabling

Function

Ethernet is a type of digital communication in which multiple devices are connected to the same network. Issues arise when two devices transmit data at the same time, causing a collision. When a collision is detected, all devices wait for a random period before retransmitting data, which can result in gaps or interference in the audio output. These recovery methods are not ideal as they reduce the quality of the musical experience.

The ION noise dissipation system reduces the occurrence of both false and actual collisions, thereby improving the quality of the digital streaming musical experience.
